Just picked up the Knifejoy Damascus Endela (on sale right now). This thing is a fine work of art and looks much nicer in person than in the photos. I especially love the look of the silver clip instead of the black. I'm debating on picking up the Endura and Delica as well since they are on sale. :thinking :thinking

I just got my used Manix2XL from Arizona Custom Knives, I am very impressed with everything from how they shipped it, to the condition it's in. You wouldn't know this knife from new.

My Spyderco box was in perfect shape too. Definitely buy from these guys again. You get your knife on the UPS tracker from start to finish along with emails from Arizona Custom Knives... You just not getting better service than this fellows.

Endela SE K390... very much looking forward to finally trying that steel in a model I already have and that's one of my favorites (Endela SE VG10)
I'm really excited to hear what you think with regard to SE steel performance in K390, especially in my favorite of the Delica/Endela/Endura series. I keep thinking I'm ready for tool steel SE but I haven't been able to cross the mental barrier of carrying a non-stainless steel only a mile from the ocean. Maybe one day!
I´ll certainly post about and let you know how I like K390 SE!
Curious myself how sharpening teeth in such a hard steel will turn out for me, since almost all of my SE experience has been with VG10, LC200N and H1/H2 so far... I think especially with this K390 SE knife I´ll really try to stick to the "never let get it dull in the first place" - rule and rather do early touch ups.

And yes , it´s funny: Though in overall size I clearly prefer the Endura (blade- and edge- wise), the Endela is something special: It looks and feels in hand the most "harmonic" and best proportioned of the "family", the blade has the perfect length for all the tasks where a longer one is not needed (and those are many) and my VG10 Endela SE is the folder I normally grab when I don´t actively think about which one of my Spydies I want to or need to carry that day... it just works, especially with that amazing serrations.

... And luckily I usually have no corrosion issues with my knives resp. anyway like patina and even slight spotting and when a blade shows its "life" and use.
Top three going by pocket-time (update April 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10), Chaparral SE (CTS XHP)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Endela SE (K390)

got some new ceramic bench stones coming. Wanted back-ups before the remaining stock is exhausted, since Spyderco hasn't announced any replacement products.

Worth trying them out if you never have! I like the medium for pocket knives and the fine for my chef knives.

I think I'm going to try grinding the new medium stone extra coarse like I did a set of sharpmaker rods. 300 grit silicone carbide powder should let me get a toothier finish off the stone.
May you find peace in this life and the next.

Ordered an orange (sucker for orange) Delica that was supposed to be here last week. Been sitting at the post office for 6 days and now says will be delivered “on time” tomorrow. I won’t be home for another ten days. Ughhh.

I just ordered a Resilience LW in 8CR. It will be my first "value" folder from Spyderco. But I wanted to see how I like that huge blade and liner lock before I commit to a higher-end version.
