@Ramonade Any tricks to cleaning the anodized blue handle? So far, I've tried Windex, alcohol, CLP, water. Nothing works.

I've just used soap and my finger and after rincing I used a soft cloath to clean them and it sorta worked. Left darker spots here and there.

I managed to scratch it day 1 so it's definitely gonna become a user :woozy . Frickin' jeans wanted to play with it apparently.

@Manixguy@1994 Thanks Dan, It's really something. Really pricy but when I calculate how many Spydercos I buy monthly, I can spare to buy 2 and buy this one instead :grin-sweat . Since the finish has been attacked already, It'll join my CRKs as users (because even if they cost so much, I can't keep myself from using them)
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

As LB would say scratches on knives are memories. ;) I have a lefty CRK 21 that I purchased when it was only model made so it has its share of scratches and does not bother me a bit . I would feel the same with Bowie if they made a lefty version . Your Bowie is very impressive. Dan

Yeah most definitely ! But the anodisation is actually very resilient because i managed to clean it completely after a few tries !

I sold it to a very good friend now that I own the Original. I think I have a picture somewhere..

I wonder if that one guy that was crazy about this knife a few years ago, is still around and finally got his opportunity to get one!?

One of the worst finishes I've had on a knife, if not the worst tbh. Sold mine already after I put extremely light snails on the clipside of the scale with the BACKSIDE OF MY FINGERNAILS. What is this? I was going to have it refinished, but its just ridiculous that you have to and after you bake it into the cost of the knife its a 550+ knife. Stick to stonewash please. Also satin instead of polished stonewash automatically takes it down a tier in fit and finish from the original.

Hahah, no...not the trend setter himself all those years ago. He was a member here, always talking about wanting one. Probably in this thread, I just didn't check.

If the aluminium that I thought left snail trail only actually deposited material, I think your finger nails also left some "embedded" in the porous finish, it can be removed without refinishing it :). Or at least it should be ! Except if you have adamantium finger nails, then it's pretty much over

Possibly but if microfiber and water isn't enough to get it out then its a pain in the *** either way.

I went the opposite route. I just threw it in my pocket with my keys and titanium pen and let them all bounce around together for a few weeks. Now the blue is so full of scratches that there is no need to worry about messing anything up. It’s a tool, who cares what the handle looks like as long as the knife is clean and cuts well.

I sent mine off to Ray C. at Cap City Creations to have him customize the blue scales with his micro bark pattern, anodize them and the hardware a dark bronze, and tumble/blast everything so it won’t pick up scratches easily. I think it came out really fantastic! One thing you might notice is that he drilled the screw hole for the LBS straight through the lockbar. He said that there was so little material (Ti) to work with there after the micro bark grinding, he felt it would better to have a stouter/deeper connection to reattach the LBS screw, which he anodized anyway and you can barely see it. Overall, a fantastic job from a custom modder that some of you may want to look up on IG. He does lottos for open book spots from time to time that are VERY popular (he likes modding CRKs too). Cheers, Radioactive

Looks like not only a good look, but I bet it feels great in the paw as well. I like my scales where they have a good grip to feel as you hold them. Like your color choice too.

I still lol over the stunt you suckered me into on the red and black PM2 lol. Which is a great looking knife also. I swallowed that hook, line and sinker lol...
