I was curious if the BBB collaboration knife made an appearance...
Yes it did.
Its classic fixed blade design with the nessmuk blade shape turned into a 3/3.5 folder with micarta handle and a linerlock.

Very cool.
Good question William.

Is it FFG?

That's usually after IWA in Germany. Cut MrBlond some slack, he's crazy busy ATM. ;)

Its classic design.
Thanks for the information, with that blade design it should have a lot of edge for the size. One knife I am definitely excited to see drop.

I think I can share that Spyderco is phasing out m398 on every current models and future, too brittle apparently.
I wonder if this means that announced models that haven’t been released yet, such as the PITS 2 are getting swapped before production. I have the Roadie XL and the NAND, but if Spyderco thinks M398 isn’t a good steel to use, I won’t get anything else in it.

There is a slight nuance here. Eric mentioned that some of the M398 steel sheets were to brittal to use and had to be discarded, not the final blade as expected from it's steel composition.

I do not want to be the bad guy but i would delete your post as its forbidden to talk about what we have seen unless it has gotten a picture in Wouters picture thread in a couple of weeks as they told us at the very start sunday morning. :neutral

In Senates defense, I recall seeing posts from others on here after previous Amsterdam meets that briefly described some of the content shown during the meet. Maybe that lead to some confusion as to what can and can't shared.

Either way I've edited the quote in my previous post to help with discretion.

Generally, Concept models should not be shared. for example, the mention of Crickets is already invalid as the designs need to be changed.

I feel like a kid who discovered my parents Christmas gift stash and had a sneak peek.
Reading Senates post feels like participating in something shady… stretching the rules at best, but man did it make me very hopeful to read some of the entries on that list.

Don’t worry, Sal, I promise to act surprised when they’re officially revealed ;)

Not happy to see someone talk in this detail about what was shared with us in Amsterdam.

@Senate should be a sign that no one of the other 69 attendees is talking about the Designs.

Hey Aicolaimen,

Thanx for the comment. It really does show the difficulty in trying to get input and feedback without giving too much information to the "competitors" so they know know what we're doing.
