I’m now in NL! Landed at AMS and meeting a friend in Den Haag today and tomorrow, but will be at the Mercury hotel tomorrow evening! Looking forward to meeting everyone, and the cool new knives!

If anyone else is getting to the hotel this evening and sees this message, perhaps we could get dinner together? I would be glad to get to make new friends!

It was my first and hopefully not last AMS meet. Thank you to the Spyderco folks for organizing such a great event, much appreciated 🙏 Very nice to meet some of the folks on this forum in person. I had a blast 😃

Wow, just wow... Thank you for another wonderful event. It was my honor and privilege to welcome these beautiful people to the Lowlands again. Mr. Glesser looked like he's been hitting the gym hard putting on some serious gains compared to last year and his young R&D protëgé pretty much mesmerized the entire room for over an hour generously sharing his technical expertise. And of course shout out to Mr. Blonde for making things happen and congratulations to Joyce (?) for your 30 years of service and generosity!

Thank you again for this great Meeting with great Gentlemen and Ladies.
Glad that Spyderco shared some inside about the new coating and again prototypes.

Thanks Wouter for the organization.
A unique experience indeed.

It was Lisa who was at the meeting. Unfortunately Joyce has retired a couple of years ago.

Our lips are sealed.....we could tell you but then we would have to kill you....
Joking aside. A lot of new models, but most are concept models without the certainty of them ever coming out. Some are production models who will come out in the next months.
Due to the sensitivity of the information we are waiting for Wouter to release info and pictures.
It´s up to Eric and the team to release the info.

I think I can share that Spyderco is phasing out m398 on every current models and future, too brittle apparently.

Yes it did.
Its classic fixed blade design with the nessmuk blade shape turned into a 3/3.5 folder with micarta handle and a linerlock.
