What are you listening to?
Re: What are you listening to?
I have the CD of the Netflix movie “Highwaymen” soundtrack, in my truck’s CD player. It has been there for a while. Now and then, I swap it out for the CD of Rhiannon Giddens’ 2021 album “They’re Calling Me Home.”
I used to listen to music from my iPhone, but the touch screen for the stereo system in my 2014 Tundra is broken, so, I have been unable to select Bluetooth or a direct cable connection. When I have the energy and enough ambition, I’ll swap-out the stereo, for a pre-owned replacement, that is waiting, in its box…
Edited to add: I just realized, while double-checking how to spell her first name, that Rhiannon Giddens has a newer album, that I’ll need to add.

Re: What are you listening to?
"...footage from Martin Scorsese's "No Direction Home," D.A. Pennebaker's "Eat The Document," and some European news reels, then paired them with the matching soundboard recordings. There is footage from three different concerts and audio from two (the first half is from Newcastle 5/21/66, and the second half, after the interviews of fans, is from Glasgow 5/19/66)..."
(And yes, that is a very young looking The Band backing him up.)
Another Mr Jones
Bonus Round: Nice video of Jerry playing
Mr. Jones and me stumbling through the barrio

Harmony Corruption by Napalm Death
First vinyl album I ever got and still one of my all time favorites. Back then it was called grindcore and this one really grinds hard from start to finish...
