VG10 Leafjumper is on the way. Didn’t want to miss out after handling my son’s.
Good choice! PE or SE? I started with a PE last November, and will have a SE on Friday! I dragged my feet and missed the Rockjumper, but made sure I got both Leafjumpers!

PE. I’ve never warmed up to serrations, though I may try again with the Chap at some point.

That’s cool. This will be my first SE. If I like it even a little bit, I’ll be getting a Chaparral SE next. I figured I could try it out on a discounted Leafjumper before paying more on a Chaparral!

Ah it's all good. Not like it was coarse language or something.
I'll be back buying my favorite knife brand soon enough

I'm stretched pretty thin right now, told myself no purchases for awhile after the BBB Military, but I did cave and now have a BHQ Lum Tanto M390 on the way.

Just ordered a Leafjumper SE from Knifecenter. Will be my first SE.
You'll love it. I picked one up at the SFO recently couldn't believe the price and have wanted to try a SE K390 blade. It is amazing!
Just opened it up today and used it right away at work. Yep, I love it!! Now I want more SE knives!

Great choice. One of the few Spydies with a compound grind. The satin blade really shows it off.

Thanks. And yep, I'm typically not much of a tanto user these days, but the blade looks great. Seeing this one available, and then considering this current forum knife runoff in the back of my head for example, I was like you know what, this Lum is like something exactly I'd ask for to be re-made... and maybe not everyone would agree, so it's cool it is! And since it is a reality, I've gotta grab one while there's a chance. That was my approach to blowing money when I shouldn't be haha

Well....I no longer have any Spydercos in the mail. My Sage 5 Salt finally arrived.

The Sage 5 is so similar to the Native 5 I recently acquired, it may take quite a while to determine which I like better, if that is even possible.
Oldest: 1974 Buck 110.
Newest: Kapara C241BMBNP, Burlap Micarta, S90V
Knives owned: Too many, yet always finding another.

Nice. Curious to hear your perception of PD#1 vs Cruwear. Or have you had it before?

I was lightly browsing the SE Police K390 recently... didn't pull the trigger.

I just received 2 Spyderco Lum Tanto knives, fixed blades. Blade length is right around 4+ inches. They look very stout, steel is VG-10, beautiful knives. These can definitely be used for self defense.

From BladeArt.com I received the Lum Tanto with Burgundy Paper grips.

From Country Knives I received a Spyderco, FB03GPBKGR, Lum Tanto - Forest Green / Black G-10.
https://www.countryknives.com/shop-by-d ... lack-g-10/

Country Knives initially sent me a Lum with a Spyderco Collectors Number on it, I returned it and they exchanged it for one without any additional engravings. They were very nice to me when dealing with my issue.

Wow, you really grabbed those, nice! I wasn't sure how serious you were when I mentioned seeing some still available for sale at retailers.
Very cool. Those are some deep classics. Beautiful. Far out of my reach at this point though.

Nope, I was serious. I buy quite a few knives.

I appreciate the tip! These I will keep, probably for ever. They are really nice.

I had a really nice 6 inch dagger by a South African bladesmith for $800. I did not want to get rid of it, but I felt that I was in a bind. I did not lose any money on the sale, but I did have to wait 9 months for the knife to be made.

Yeah that's what I'm getting at, seeing your extensive use and sharpening of Cruwear, wondering if it'll basically be indecipherable between the two as elementally it should be... Or if you'll notice any differences first hand.
