Got my new Manix2xl- Crucarta in yesterday now lol... Up late messing around lol. So took some pix of it before I had to try snaking the Micarta scales, really nice knife for me to rip it from the box and just jack it all up lol...

Now I got to hone this Cruwear blade to a Razor sharp edge and then see how this knife is in the pocket.

I just have the two Manixes, (Manixi?) but they have become regulars for me. Next to the Native 5, the Manix2 is my favorite model. I've had the Maxamanix for a few years now and have used it for everything from cutting copper wire to drywall. It took it all like a champ. The blade did get chipped pretty bad. Not from use though. It fell off the collection shelf (open) and landed on an axe that was below. Right on the edge of course! Couldn't have landed on the handle, right?. Big chip about an inch from the tip. Holy moly, it took forever to work that thing out! I don't carry it so much now. Mostly since I don't want to damage it any further and I have a few other favorites now. BTW, the axe is not stored below the knife shelf anymore, lol!

Haha of course, that's how it goes sometimes. But on the bright side at least the blade didn't snap at the ricasso, which I've unfortunately seen happen to some of the higher HRC more brittle knives when dropped on concrete, etc. I dropped my MicroJimbo onto concrete the other day and cringed, marred the spine and one G10 corner, but not bad.
Going back to Caly.

Ouch! That hurts just hearing about it. It's funny, I've never caused any damage to blades from using them. It's always been a fall or drop. The worst one was luckily not a Soyderco. Dropped it perfectly tip down on the garage floor. Yeah, no more blade tip. It was a cheap CRKT so I didn't really mind. Lol!
