Post by TazKristi »

This weekend, from Friday through Sunday, Spyderco will donate all proceeds from the sale of our Thin Red Line knives to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation Los Angeles Fund. Purchase online or in the SFO store to support this worthy cause. https://www.spyderco.com/?s=red+line

Thanks, Kristi.
One friend lost his home entirely. Another's is damaged; he's old and the disruption might not bode well for him. Another friend has been unable to go home for a a week and a half. The firefighters and cops have been working non-stop. Luckily, today is considerably cooler with higher humidity, clouds, and some fog.

I'm in!

I have a lot of strong opinions about what's going on over there but it doesn't change my support for fire fighters/law enforcement. I've been looking for a good excuse to get a Rescue anyway.

...and a lot of what people think is going wrong over here is fake news shamelessly politicizing a natural disaster. So many lies that the governor put up a site just to address the nonsense.

Can we please not let this devolve any further? Politicizing this is disgusting. Sheesh.

Thank you for the fundraiser.

In any case a good thing to support Spydercos generous move - and one really gets a great knife too if purchasing one of the "thin lines"! My thin red line Endura is one of my most useful and most carried Spydies, so I´d encourage everyone to not hesitate. Don´t know for how long the thin line models (disco´ed) will be on the market at all...
Top three going by pocket-time (update April 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10), Chaparral SE (CTS XHP)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Endela SE (K390)
