Been hot n heavy with this thing ever since it showed up last month, and now with a fresh ~26 degree mirror I can't seem to knock it out of the rotation

Not very many of the more recent collabs have really hit me as great. But the Kapara is one that I really do like, seems like a familiar enough ergo to where it could be a full time Spyderco model somewhere in the line up. Sadly I don't particularly see them carried or in use very often.barnaclesonaboat wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 12:47 pmBeen hot n heavy with this thing ever since it showed up last month, and now with a fresh ~26 degree mirror I can't seem to knock it out of the rotation![]()

Hi guys, Happy new year to all of you !
Just went through what I missed during the last weeks of absence and mamamia
About this week, love all of your shots but the little bug by @SpeedHoles is one of my favorites, really like what you're using as a stand
A little Ironman theme this week :)

I'll add this one from yesterday's afternoon of fishing.

Super! Really overlooked design in my opinion. Not the greatest for in pocket, but ready for some heavy grip use.

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
This is my first of the collaboration knives. Something about the relative size similarities and lock type to my go-to PM2’s probably pushed me over the edge with it. I agree that the ergonomics seem so near to the standard line it could fit in… would love to see some harder steels, too. The looks and overall aesthetic of it grew on me quickly, and the dampness of the blade closure is perhaps my favorite in a comp lock.SpeedHoles wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 2:11 pmNot very many of the more recent collabs have really hit me as great. Fits my pocket just fine , I prefer larger knives and this one is smaller than my Shaman or Manix XL s among others . MG2SpeedHoles wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 10:07 amSuper! Really overlooked design in my opinion. Not the greatest for in pocket, but ready for some heavy grip use.
