For me, it's the Lil' Temperance. I had a soft spot for the earlier Green G-10 model and this newer model is every bit as good. Top features for me are the deep scales and the blade edge running close to the handle.

I'd love to see it in Crucarta!

I would also love a Lil' Temperance in Crucarta (or micarta and PD#1).

For a long time mine was the OD green DLT PM2 S90V. Recently I've been carrying the Avacado Manix2 in 204P a bit more. Both are awesome knives. So hard to decide!

Yes, sir! Hard to decide with such great knives about. An avo-204P Manix would be a pocket hog in my rotation, too, if I had one. Really like the way those rigs look and aside from a PM2, hard to beat a Manix...

Police4 in the Micro Melt PD#1 steel. It's my go to... Least till I can get the Police4 in something more substantial.

I always tell my wife, if you didn’t have so many dresses, the choice would be easier. I should take my own advice. Far too many that will probably never be used. I think I have put my Endela through most, love that model. I try to carry and use one of my Para 2’s but can’t seem to work it like the Endela. My most carried however are my Delicas. For me the Delica doesn’t need any thought, I pull it, use it and put it away. It really feels natural from start to finish. It is a trusted companion. I can put it through its paces and know it won’t let me down. I will always have one. Thanks for listening, Troy

Pacific Salt

It's not my favorite Spyderco deaign by a long shot.

I prefer the size of the police and catcherman, the ergos of the Manix XL and Military, the geometry of the chief, etc.

but being a salt with a nice grip and good cutting action, I keep coming back to it.

I thought the Chief Salt and Stretch XL Salt would dethrone it, but for different reasons I found I prefer the Pacific Salt to either of them.

Even once the Military Salt releases, the Pacific will still see action on active days in the summer when I'm carrying IWB. I trust the lockback more for an IWB trail running knife than comp lock.

It's hard to say for me, probably the orange Manix 2 Rex45, with a close second being PM2 K390.

Gayle Bradley 2. It fits my hand well and opens easily with a distinctive clack. The M4 blade has a patina on it from the almost 10 years I’ve owned it and that gives it character.

Brad Southard flipper. Was MIA but found 7 years later.

Enduras. Despite having most of the versions the VG 10 still gets as much and possibly more pocket time than ones with bonified super steels. VG 10 really is a good all around steel .

I have a para 2and CPU cruwear with micarta the scales that was engraved "Happy Retirement" From my soldiers that I served with. I encourage many of them to get a spyderco because of the support that this company offers. I have tried to send hundreds if not thousands of veterans to this incredible institution. I enjoy reading these stories. It lets me know the next knife if I should get.

Which version? I still haven’t purchased one yet because the Black Friday sales diverted my money elsewhere.

pe h1 gen 1 is my favorite. I have some se gen 1's too, and gen 2's in both edge types, but PE works best for me and the older handle fits my grip a little better.

As to the thread question, I have only come to appreciate Spydercos since late 2023.

I am going through a honeymoon phase right now carrying and trying several different models and variants of the same model in a few cases. Really thinking about it, I have probably carried a Delica 4 PE in VG-10 more than any other.

A few years ago my answer would have been Native 5, but since the Endela came out, I've reached for it as frequently as I have the Native. They are my top two choices.
