Year of the Endela for me. In 2023 I bought my first one, a wharncliffe K390. In 2024 I added a regular profile K390 and a PD#1 sprint. Collectively it was my most-carried model.

Honorable mention to my old blue M390 PM2, probably my most-carried single knife and hunting knife for this past (successful) deer season.

The Military 2 is a strong candidate for knife of the decade. I’ve all PE versions except the cruwear so far. Runner up is the Sage 5 lightweight in Rex 121, which is the knife that brings a smile to my face with its exceptionally smooth action.

Military 2 for me among many possible choices what a great year!

I particularly enjoy the easy availability of a fully serrated Military 2. Pimped out with some Sharp Dressed Knives carbon fiber scales and tritium lanyard hole fillers they are as good looking as they are efficient cutters!

Just cut down Christmas cardboard with my two spydies from ‘24, Chaparral SE and Military 2 SE. the chaparral vastly outperformed the Military in this job. Slices like butter with minimal effort. It’s definitely my fave for 2024

Stretch 2 in K390 was my #1 for 2024, due in no small part to Pete's videos on Cedric & Ada. I got my eye on the Sage 5 MagnaCut Salt for 2025 though, so we'll see how it goes.

I still don’t know why…

I think this one will be high on my list for '25.
I was so obsessed with getting my hands on the Stretch 1 that the 2 has kind of fallen off my radar.
And while the S1 is probably the better size for me, it is increasingly harder to find replacements for it, so it makes sense to get acquainted with the S2 sooner rather than later.

The Sage situation is quite similar. It's one that has been considered from time to time over many years, but something else has always pushed it aside. My preferences doesn't always align with Pete's, but seeing him rate the Sage 5 as his second most favorite Spyderco made me realize I've probably postponed a Sage acquisition way longer than it deserves.
Rex 121 has an undeniable appeal, but I'm afraid it's outside my sharpening league, so considering the M2 salt didn't quite connect with me the way I had hoped, maybe the Sage 5 salt is my ticket into the Sage line as well.

Same, I don’t love chippy steels, so MagnaCut it is for me. Hope you enjoy the K390 Stretch this year!

After hearing for years about how perfect the Sage 5 was and somewhat dismissing it as hyperbole, I finally bought one... And learned that everyone was correct.

I have a handful of knives in my normal rotation, but this is in my pocket more than the others:

IMO, it is the fully SE Native 5 in MagnaCut. It's a real card board shredder. Thicker than the SE Chap (my 2nd place choice), but still a great slicing blade geometry.

I used and carried my PE MC N5 almost exclusively in '24. I love it and there is a good chance it will remain my most carried warm weather Spyderco.
But I just got a SE Chap, so I am curious, which one will be used more this year.
