This would be mine if I got off my rear and taught myself how to mod detents so the chance of an accidental opening is reduced. DLC S30V + coated hardware is close enough to a salt for me.

Even though its my newest spydie it fills me with nostalgia.
Used a blacked out PM2 as a work knife for 5 years and this really reminds me of that knife. Also used to carry my S60V & CPMD2 military to work in the 2000's, and 204P / DLC S30V in the 2010's.
Now I'm carrying this Military 2, still in the same line of work, cutting a lot of the same things. Brings back memories from kitchens I've worked at over the years.

The Bodacious has been my pocket favorite this month. Cheers.
Just one more knife...

Glad for you when I read how much you like your Millie 2!

As it always is when one is enthusiastic about a new knife, cause I think we can all relate to this so well... especially when it is not "just " about the technical and design aspects, but somehow about "more", like in your case the "nostalgia".
/ Like you I prefer backlock or CBBL over linerlock or comp.lock among other aspects also cause of the stronger closing bias of the two former locktypes.
Would you personally go so far that you´d say a backlock or CBBL Millie would be even more to your liking than the comp.lock or linerlock version ? (For now disregarding if a backlock or CBBL could actually be implemented in a Millie without any changes of shape and form)

Yep, I'd definitely take a lockback or cbbl version over the comp lock. but I like the comp lock for improving ergos by removing the liner lock cut out, and I've come up with about ten different ways to close it which can be fun.Wartstein wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2024 11:51 pmvivi wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2024 3:49 pmThis would be mine if I got off my rear and taught myself how to mod detents so the chance of an accidental opening is reduced. Only question is which version I should buy next.
