What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
See here viewtopic.php?p=1809694#p1809694...
Main points being: Those who happen to like a good linerlock more than a comp.lock (and there are several reasons for that like of course also vice versa) and/or the "minimal" choil more than the new, pm2-ish one, it obviously must be hard to prefer the "2" over the "1"...
That said: I am glad for the many who love the Millie 2 and for the success it appearantly is for Spyderco!

Top three going by pocket-time (update April 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10), Chaparral SE (CTS XHP)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Endela SE (K390)

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

With just a minor radius on the inside of the handle scales it is now excellent. Today I carved some hardwood, cut heavy towing straps , cut up some apples for lunch. No chipping no roles, and all I lost was the bite of my ghost edge. 3 swipes per side on my brown sharp maker at 30 and were back to perfection.

I've been wanting a Lil' Native slipjoint for quite awhile. I finaly pulled the trigger with black Friday sales. I don't know why I waited so long. This one is going to be getting alot of pocket time for the foreseable future. Great knife!

Seems like a good first knife! All 3 of my kids have a Spyderco. 2 dragonflies and a Para 3 for the oldest. But my youngest is the one who is really in to the hobby of it. Asked for another knife for Christmas
And I think you would really like the Bodacious. There is more grip space than the Military behind the choil. And something I love about it, like the shaman the blade stays thick all the way to the tip. So with so much edge you still get a stout tip.
The price may be the biggest hold up. National Knives had the satin for $196 and the DLC for $209. I had a local dealer match the price for me. Definitely one to look for on sale.
@Manixguy@1994 , Dan you noticed!

@Manixguy@1994 , Dan you noticed!That thing is do for a service. I'm going to break it down with him, and he is going to start learning to sharpen by hand.
