I picked up 2 Tenacious' s from Cutlery Shop, (One with Brown Scales and M4 blade and the other with black G10 Scales and Black Blade - Both Combo Blades) less than $95 to the door. These will make for a good work knife that I wont be afraid to abuse for that price. These will be the first Combo blades I have bought from Spyderco, so I am curious to see how I like them.

I would guess, people like me, already spent their budget a few days ago on the BF knife deals. Smoking deals though, close to factory seconds prices.

Frn and bd1n budget steel is a lower priced combo. Even at $65 or $75 I wouldn't expect people to jump all over it. Add on top 4"+ models are definitely slower sellers.

Regular street prices is $153.

Definitely agree, between the size and issues with that knife it's not surprising it is moving slow. But at $65, geez, it's nearly as cheap as a Tenacious.
