I decided to cancel my order because the U.K. retailer was f’ing me about with a subsequent order I made with them.
That’s a bit shabby from the official UK importer.
I’ve a bit too much drama and frustration with them lately:
I bought 5 knives with them and only 3 of them showed up. No explanation given, I had to go chasing them to get my money back. Very efficient at taking my money, inefficient to deal with in return.
Getting my Sharpmaker off them was a headache too, I had to remind them to send it to me over the course of 4 emails, but at least I got that one in the end.
Decided to pre-emptively save everyone the hassle of me getting the S90v M2 so cancelled my order. I’ll wait for one to come up for sale 2nd hand instead.
[/quote]

Not impressive. Perhaps they were overwhelmed by orders in their sale, but that’s no excuse. The M2 CF s90v has gone off pre-order now. Maybe they’ll send one to me, maybe they won’t!

I ordered mine. Millie is my ride or die Spyderco. I have a small collection of them now to last me the rest of my life notwithstanding tragedy. Now to rank them in order… The Ti fluted will be the pride of the collection but the basic black one I have carried the most at work but the carbon Fiber S90V might be the perfect in between. It’s kinda fancy with extra fidget factor X factor going for it. It will bump my blurple one down a notch. Thanks Sal, et al for making this happen 😘

This one is amazing!
116g/4.092 oz
.022 BTE with a very even grind.

Locks up like a bank vault! I can't believe how rigid and strong this feels given it's weight. Feels like a fixed blade when deployed :)
Will likely bump the Ti/CF Knifeworks version from the throne!

What a home run!
Bravo Sal et al!!

Thanks for the pics! You may have just pushed me over the edge. I love Golden peel ply CF and the rigidity it adds.

The grip & texture is superb! Grippy but not too rough!
I'm really astounded at how rigid this knife is. Better than any other PM2 or Mille I have (many) including the CF/M4 PM2.

Do You have any other Military 2 to compare BTE thickness?

I have 5 or 6 orginal Mille's. They vary around .020+/-. Green 204P is .018 mid blade thickening to .020 at the tip again sharpened to 15dps (fixed angle sharpener) Most pertinent comparison is the KW S90V Ti framelock which is much thinner. It is .017 bte sharpened @ 15dps!
My one persistent request of Spyderco would be for thinner grinds. Still love this most recent Sprint even though it is ground thick.

D'oh- just realized you asked about Military 2! No, this Sprint is my only 2 and will remain so until Triple B's 15v becomes available ;)

I ordered mine from Knifejoy last Wednesday paid extra for 2 business day shipping figured on not seeing it before the following Monday, but I was ok with that.
Guys I would not recommend shopping with this place at all now. They are telling me maybe get the knife by this Wednesday.
Started out shipping from Arkansas, now they are telling me it's coming from Arizona... Sure glad I paid for 2 business day shipping lol. What a frigging joke Knifejoy is to deal with on such a really special knife order in my opinion.

It's just my opinion, but Carbon Fiber and S90V is a very special combination.

sal
Yes, a re-release of the Walker C22 in that combo would be great! *hint* :)

I noticed Lamnia showing available stock on their website and emailed them about it. They confirmed it's still a pre-order and the expect to receive stock in the next few weeks.
