These two went on a small mountain hike. Of course, it was a quest for the perfect spot to sit on a rock and enjoy a classic. =P

Awesome photo!
Thanks! It was fun to take it. I went on a little mountain hike, found a perfect sitting rock to enjoy that Montecristo, and spied that spot to take the pic.

Today though, just a lazy Spyderco Saturday as I recover from a busy week.

One does not see these drop point variants of the UKPK a lot here it seems - at very first glance I was like "how on earth did he shrink his Stretch 1 and give it a wire clip?" ;)

I like that blade shape btw!

Thanks!

Mountain hikes often look like this at this time of year around here - clouds and a bit cold and nasty in the valleys, sun and still shorts and t-shirt weather higher up...

Here is another example (another day, but same knife... no surprise, these days I mostly carry either the Salt 2 SE or Pac Salt 1 SE when in the mountains. Actually not because they are super rustproof (VG10 for example easily offers enough corrosion resistance for my taste), but because they are so light while still sturdy and both amazing performers)

+1 on the blade shape. Recently picked up the UKPK MagnaCut. Would have preferred it as a drop point instead of leaf for PE. Prefer leaf for serrated blade, tho.
