Didn't wanna do a thread on this but, I do wanna share it. This was taken on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Va, about 5 years ago I believe (not by me)

Not a sunset but last month
when we had the solar eclipse
I noticed this pattern of shadows
cast by my hickory tree
on my stone walkway.
Here in Deep East Texas
we only had about an 80% eclipse.

Feeling pretty lucky this year. We happened to be in the path of totality with the eclipse, and now for the first time in my life, got to see the northern lights in all their glory from our back deck. Incredibly beautiful, you can even see some stars, what a sight!
