Great question. I've had this on pre-order for almost a year.

The Golden factory expansion isn’t complete so capacity is reduced. Sal mentioned this in one of the recent threads but I don’t recall which one right now.

Also note that a lot of sites will let you pre-order before they’re even given a delivery date from the factory…

I'm still going to order one when I find one in stock (CS sold out already).

But at this rate 2024 or 2025 could be my last year buying Spydercos at retail price.

I've held firm to $200 and under per knife since I started buying knives, and I don't see any reason to change that when I view the market as a whole.

Sad times.

Thank you for the links, but I decided to go with a $115 BD1N DLC Chief instead.

I love salts, but $200 for a linerless FRN knife is too much. I've found my limit.

Looking forward to reading feedback from others on this knife. I'll keep an eye out for sales down the line.

Is this Delica 4 Cruwear Distributor Exclusive a new release, or a re-issue? The price is painful to look at, especially since you can still find the PD#1 Delica sprint for much less.
