Since this picture was taken I have chopped up a LOT of cardboard, and it still shaves hair. No chips or rolled edge. Spyderco did a great job on the heat treat! What an amazing knife! :bug-red-white

A better look at those shallow serrations. Pretty incredible deal for under $50, for a stout, small knife, friendly steel and non snaggy serrations.

I'm with you on an XL version of this (surprising, I know!). It'd possibly end up being my favorite spyderco folder if it were ~20% or so larger. Very nice design that was well thought out in every aspect.

Anyone that doesn't own a z cut is missing out. They're very nice knives for smaller food prep jobs. Perfect for cutting up apples etc. for kids.

Today I am carrying the same knife that has been in my pocket everyday for the last 7 years, a Para 2 in S110V. Great knife!

Something about M4... The edge it takes, the way it cuts... And the way it cuts... And also cuts... Thanks BHQ for keeping the dream alive and everyone informed. Not a fan of Jade or Mint but really don't care anymore!

REX45 and K390 are like pizza and burgers, but M4 is still my tacos lol. Maybe that makes Magnacut the chicken salad wrap?

I'll show myself out

I've always thought M4's sharpening response to edge holding ratio is really, really good. It's one of my favorite steels. Sure, there are plenty of steels that grind more easily, but they also burr more and require more frequent touch-ups. M4 is great stuff. Glad I own a Chief, Manix XL and more in it.
