A few pictures of our new lab puppy that I haven't shared yet. He turned 1 about a month ago. He's turning into quite a good boy.

Looks to be a very sweet dog. We used to have a Bailey, and she was awesome.

Re: Any dog lovers?
Thank you, I kid you not, she is the absolute sweetest dog I have ever been around...she is not the most brilliant or protective or alert, but her superpower is absolute kindness and love.
So it goes.

Rough week here in AZ. We had to put our 12 year old Rottweiler (Atlas) down due to

We got some meds for him to make him more comfortable but it soon became obvious
To us that we were just being selfish. Atlas had a huge personality and an even bigger
Heart. This is gonna be a tough one to get over.
I am posting a picture of him hiking with our granddaughter in one of the near by
Canyons. The grand daughter was the one who picked him out of the litter to bring
Home when she was only 4 years old. She did a great job.

Re: Any dog lovers?
Ed, I'm so sorry about Atlas. I have an injured cat right now, which is breaking my heart, so I can imagine how sad you must be. You did the right thing by not letting him suffer, and as you said, he is in heaven now with all the other dogs. In time it will get easier. Take care.
Re: Any dog lovers?
Very sorry for your loss Ed. We lost our dog a year ago this past June 27th...to be exact, the same day as the 10 year anniversary of owning our home. There's not a day that goes by that we don't talk about our Tony "Bubby". Normally left laughing about a story, but then feeling bummed because we miss him so much. But, we know our lives were better to have had him for the 8 years we had him, than to have never have had him at all. I'm willing to bet you feel that way as well. It's tough, but a good reminder to yourself when feeling down.
