I wish I had a pic of my Siren before I cut out and fluted the thumbhole area of the CF scales, so as to better access the thumbhole.
Seeing the one above does show how much I cut mine out though. Love this little knife now. Have a look/see at it... Sorry for these poor pix, these two are even bad for me lol, I usually do better than this...

Do you have a photo of your Siren in the closed position? I bet the Spydiehole is fully accessible with your mod.
Carrying mine again today as we have a tropical storm passing.
Never posted a pic of it closed and that was the main reason for this mod to begin with lol... Another reason I cut mine down like this, as it exposes just enough of the blade shank so when you push the backlock and you have the blade set like I like all mine, the blade swings down freely, and that little piece of the tang rest on my index finger and my crazy sharp blade doesn't cut me lol...
You just don't won't to cut to much of the scales to expose the area where the backlock goes, when the blade is shut, it would gap open if you did. Wouldn't hurt anything other than your feelings lol...
I didn't cut enough toward the Axle bolt to expose that part of the tang either.
