Hello all!

I need help with the year and model of this aluminum, older Spyderco Police folder. It has the number "#0091" stamped in it. Pics are below. Let me know what you guys come up with. Thanks!

Looks like the uncoated aluminum was available as early as 1989. I don't see a blade steel marking on yours, which Spyderco started adding in 1992. So this looks like somewhere between 1989-1991, which lines up with the years they put "POLICE MODEL" on the blade.

The aluminum Police should be model C07SA according to the Spydiewiki.

Yep, steel is G2/GIN-1, made before they started steel stamps. I've never been able to pin down exact dates on those things, but it could be as early as 1989.

Does the stamped "#0091" have any significance on the handle?

I've never seen one with a number stamped on the handle. Collector's Club numbers are put on the blade, as were seriel numbers on some of the early collaboration models.
