Thanks for the follow up, appreciate it! :smlling-eyes

Fits well indeed... but do you happen to know if they also make a NON deep carry variant ? (Personally I just don´t like deep carry)
That's fair - I like non-deep carry on several of my own knives, too. However, I checked the LynchNW site and didn't see any product listings for Spyderco that are not deep carry, so I'm not sure that particular company even makes them. Maybe someone else on here knows of such an aftermarket non-deep carry clip?

I'd definitely appreciate that follow-up, thanks!

I can relate to both of that (jeans shredded by knife in pocket and by bike)... ;)
I ended up snagging a LynchNW Spyderco Long clip in blacksmith finish for the MC-PM2. I figured if I didn't like it I could slap it on an Endura or something. Now I have a reason to buy another Endura!

The clip fits well. The contact point is right on the edge of the middle flat spot. I took some pics when exchanging the clips, since pixels are often better than words - clicking the photo blows it up a bit for details. From a user perspective, I've found the retention with the new LynchNW long clip is a nice middle ground between the typical PM2/peel-ply-G10 hold and the Salt-PM2/grooved G10/super-grab-maybe-tear-your-pocket hold. For me, I do plan to carry this on a boat and actually appreciate the slight increase in retention with the Lynch clip on this model. I'll also add that this long version of the Lynch clip feels great during knife use to me; perhaps even a bit more comfortable that the standard LynchNW standard deep-carry clips when you're really bearing down on a task for any extended period.

Appreciate that and the pics as well!

MXG makes the one @Brock O Lee posted last page (this one I think https://mxggear.com/collections/spyderc ... o-knife-10). They've got some other longer deep carry clips as well (https://mxggear.com/collections/spyderco).

I got in today the MXG longer non-deep carry clip. Unfortunately as it comes it is a bit too long. If you get the uncoated one and bend it up near the screws and down enough at the tip to touch again, it will shorten and probably be good. Since I bought the coated one, I haven't bent it. It just needs a bit; one side already sits on the flat spot, but the other side is slightly on a ridge.

One more update, you would need to put a pretty significant bend to get it to land where you want. I was wrong about that.

While playing with it though, I found something interesting. The distance to the flat spot is different tip up versus down, and the clip lands perfectly tip down. For anyone who likes tip down carry, this MXG clips is good to go

Been out of the loop for awhile. Have they talked more about the black/yellow G10 non coated version of this?

I was wondering the same. Seems odd only the dlc one has been out

It was in stock earlier today at GP Knives. And I was actually chuckling a little because it was more expensive than the Exclusive REX76 PM2, which is quite odd for a generic production version vs an Exclusive...

Are these considered sprint runs or will these new salts be in regular production?

I thought they were regular production. Just limited availability due to the congested production queue and having to squeeze in all the other models and variants around these runs.

But if Magnacut becomes scarce at some point, then who and which model gets the current stock? That becomes a question probably revisited and more highlighted within the next year or so.
