I love using mine, but today I took this picture of it with some of its old relatives.

From smallest to largest, those are casts of the “killing claw” of the raptor dinosaurs Velociraptor, Dromaeosaurus, Deinonychus, and Utahraptor!

Just for fun.

Now, that's the comparison most Hawkbill users were waiting for! Great idea! :winking-tongue

My Hawkbill makes another appearance today in the “SE Performance…” thread on the Spyderco General Discussion forum.

I also love my Byrd Hawkbill but I wish they will make a larger version with a 3.5 to 3.75 inch long or 3.95 inch long blade.

The byrd is ok...but nothing beats a spyderhawk. Wish it was a production knife!

I wish Spyderco would make a Byrd Hawkbill with a 3.5 to 3.9 long blade.
