Cool Drops

#1

Post by csapp »

I have a Paramilitary 2 that I have had for a few years. I am considering buying a new Paramilitary 2 or maybe a Para 3, but I would like something cooler than average. How can I know when Spyderco is going to or has released P2s or P3s with something special like an above average steel or special scales or something like that?

Thanks

I personally would go for the PM2 rather than the Para 3, though on the other hand the Para 3 would give you something new to try (in that sizerange and if you want a comp.lock I´d really look into the Sage 5 (LW) too though).

Now concerning "PM2 with special scales / steel":

How about the two PM2 Salt variants with Magnacut steel?

Here is the black and yellow one https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/detail ... YLMC2/2504

And right on the front page of the new product guide you can see the all black version... https://publications.spyderco.com/view/27212419/
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
