Shorts weather here.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Stretch 1 for today, one of my all time favorites.

Did not carry it much lately, but there were times when this model even competed with the Endura 4 for my favorite folder ever out of all brands (and I guess overall it will always be in my top three).

Seen here with another favorite of mine, the old(!) LM Juice series (these days even the newer (in my eyes downgraded) version is discontinued).

All of mine get carried and used (except the backup for my small "urban EDC" multitool option, the orange S2).

Sure, the Juices do have their limitations, but for their small packages they bring a lot to the table.

To me personally way superior to and a lot more versatile than for example a Skeletool (even more so, if one carries a dedicated locking folder anyway, as most of the folks here probably do).

I mean for about the same weight and a smaller package one additionally to what the Skeletool offers gets a woodsaw, an awl and scissors on the blue CS4 or an additional serrated blade, a wood and a diamond file on the yellow KF4...

Image
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I really like the grippy G10 scales on the new PM2 Salt…this was an old downed tree in the Etowah river I waded out to and fished from…it had a perfectly flat area to stand on but every time I caught a fish I had to watch my balance because it was deep on the side I was casting to and pretty dang cold 🎣 😳

Carrying my “Bombshelled” M4 Shaman Image

Pretty cool, gives the Shaman a completely different look!

How much shorter did the blade and the handle get?
Is it a true "four finger only when using the choil"-knife now?
The blade is now 3” from tip to the scales, and the handle is now 4”, making the full open length 7”. It is definitely a choil only knife now if you want to have all four fingers on the handle.

You really don´t!
( ;) ....Just kidding of course, more power to all who (unlike me) enjoy deep carry! :clinking-mugs :smlling-eyes )

And yes, nice knife and pic indeed!
