Another newby Spyderco sharpener question...

I love my spyderco sharpmaker with my CBN, coarse, fine and extra fine triangular rods.
I am thinking of buying the galley-v for a 10° option for my fishing filet knives and some kitchen sharpening... but I would like an additional coarse option on the rods.
I would like to find out if the separately available (shorter) CBN rods for the gauntlet are compatible (same shape) for use in the galley-v base?
I've called a couple of retailers and neither had the answer nor the two products for comparison.
Does anybody have these two products or know if they are interchangeable?
