Nicely done, Nick! :grin-big eyes

I like playing frisbee quite a bit too: Did a bit of ultimate a long time ago, now just very (!) basic freestyle-stuff and recreational throwing for fun.
Thanks! :respect

I played Ultimate back in high school but now I just play disc golf. I’ve played for many years but mostly just casually, nothing competitive.

Coincidentally enough I went out to a local course today. I’m sure there are courses in Salzburg. It can be a lot of fun if you ever get a chance to try it.
...

Hey Nick,

I liked playing Ultimate, but in the end found it to be a bit "too soft" - don´t get me wrong, I don´t necessarily like "violence", hurting people or when people get hurt in sports, but Ultimate allows pretty much no physical contact or a bit rougher playing, like most other team sports do.

/ Disc golf though should be really my thing indeed... I´ve always been liking just "throwing things": Both with power and for distance and also aiming for precision / hitting a target!
There are, but sadly just quite few, courses in Salzburg indeed.
These days I am a lot into Tomahawks and knives (no spin) when it comes to throwing, but I should really try disc golf - at least I know the basic throws like backhand, forehand and overhead and can throw pretty far I guess.

/ Carrying my Manix today, seen here on the disc I always keep in my car.
Sometimes I even throw it all alone (on some impromptu targets), and sometimes there are folks who like to join in or I teach my little nieces how to throw the disc (to be honest: I also teach them how to throw (and use) knives... :grimace :smirk )

Image
That’s awesome! Definitely sounds like you would enjoy disc golf as well.

This one needed a sharpening a couple days ago, much better after that. Goes a long time between sessions with a stone!

Finally got my M4 Tenacious back from W&R, about a month turnaround. I had stripped out one of the standoffs when disassembling for RIT dye.

I was pretty disappointed with my dye job, but apparently it was good enough that W&R thought this was an OD Green Tenacious rather than a brown one. 🙂
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.
