I'm pleasantly surprised to see the forum back up already. Thanks to the team for getting the move done so quickly.

Anyone find a way to change the theme? Gray on gray is not the nicest to read

@JSumm Nope... No notification and no drop down here either.
Maybe because of Android? :thinking
@buddafucco and @Jsumm it doesn’t do a drop down on Apple phones either 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yet more motivation to remember my login details so I can use my laptop instead of my phone. These keychain things on devices are great until you want to use a different one 🤦🏼‍♂️😂

Forum looks really slick now. Definitely seems faster on my iPad, as well.

The thread titles really need to be in black and not dark grey, the contrast is horrendous

Yeah, this is my only issue with the new design. The text is much harder to read even when larger since the text color is no longer proper black.

The font size seems to be smaller as before.
I am using iOS on the phone.
On top I also have a black 1,5 inch empty space.

The old themes looked much easier to read than now on iOS / Safari platform. In particular, the Notification page is difficult to read. Gray font on gray background is tough to read. Old videos don’t play.

So I noticed if I rotate my phone to horizontal it appears but in vertical it disappears.

For some reason the entire forum has been marked as read…. Annoying. Wasn’t that way earlier this morning.

Not a big fan of gray on gray, but looks like a successful update… 👍

I remember doing this on my site several times years ago…. Lots of worrying and preparation goes into this kind of project.

Nice that the forum is online again!
But I'm unhappy that all the contributions can only be read against a gray background (alternately lighter or darker). Although it looks stylish, it is difficult and hindering when reading and understanding the meaning of the text (there is a lack of contrast). If gray backgrounds were beneficial, why aren't books printed that way?
Maybe one can reconsider this, that's what I hope.

Thank you for the quick return! I didn’t realize how much I missed my daily reading of the Spyderco forum till now. It’s comforting and feels like home.

New notifications are not readable with the grey on grey coloring. Love the quote scroll especially on mobile device, iPhone.

Thank you Spyderco!
Greg

Really like the quote scroll and mention features, thank you @TazKristi (don't think the mention feature is working yet).

I feel like maybe some of the colors need to be adjusted - gray on gray is pretty low contrast, might be difficult for some folks to read.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I must be a little slow today, but I can't figure out which option we're supposed to hit to insert a Youtube video. Used to be a small circle with a black arrow pointed towards the right. When I select the option that looks similar now, it says something about invalid bb codes or something along those lines?

Concur. I wish the test was a bit darker. I don't mind the use of alternating shades of gray to create distinction between posts, but the text does not have enough contrast.
