It could also, at that miniscule weight, compete with a Dragonfly, for dress pants carry.

Not sure - I seem to recall that something about this was perhaps said in some blade- or shot- show vid - ?!

I am afraid it will be "just" a sprint though - at least on Wouters site it says "like the previous REX 45 sprint run knives" (see link below). Now that does not literally mean that the 121 Sage will be a sprint too, but it makes it sound like that.

Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Yeah in the shot show video he referred to it as "production model" but that can be taken as either it's a full production knife, or that it's the final non prototype version. I've never had an issue getting a sprint I wanted but it would still be nice to not have deal with it on a model I've had on my Wishlist for nearly a decade.

FWIW, the tag did not explicitly say 'sprint run', when in the past the tags did state 'sprint run' when applicable. Truth is that I'm not sure, we'll know for sure when the next Reveal drops.

And that’s all folks, I shared every pixel I could from these excellent new Spyderco offerings. I have no other imagery to share with you. Thank you all so much for watching and all the kind words. Let’s hope the next Reveal will answer any remaining questions. I’ll go over the thread in the next few days to see if there are any questions that I could help answer, if my fellow meet attendees didn’t answer them already.

Thanks!

-Wouter

Merci, Wouter!

That framelock tenacious looks really good. Never had much interest in the model until now!

Thank you for bringing us the good stuff from Amsterdam this year!

Your pictures and videos of the knives are as informative and professional as any.

Thanks for your time and dedication Mr Blonde. It’s much appreciated. 👍

Reservations aside, I’m looking forward to getting my hands on a Charisma. Price permitting it should be a huge hit for Spyderco, and I think that’s going to be the key it’s success.
