do you know why chicken coops have two doors?
Because if they had four they’d be chicken sedans 🤔🤣

Scheduled a short day because of some anticipated arrivals and I have to admit this is pretty nice, never handled a Slysz Bowie and now I’m gonna go cut some stuff and see what all the hype is about 🤣

Got out for a little fishing. 15V PM2 was along for the journey.

This was a bit of a "redemption" trip to a stream I'd tried to fish years ago. I was very new to fly fishing at that time, and picked a hot summer day, which was far from ideal. Much of the canyon this creek resides in is choked with thick red cedar forest, the kind you have to "swim" through, and you lose a lot of blood in the process. I barely got in a few casts that trip, and got turned around and almost stepped right on a snake on the way out. A bit humbling, that one. This time I was armed with more experience and better research and was able to get a few fish to hand. The spot has some real promise, but it will take time to dial it in. Unfortunately it's a solid drive away, so I probably won't make it back too often.
