This is a good value imo.
The action is really nice for the $$
Blade Sharpness is very good too.
But, it feels so good & locks up so well in hand.
And the packaging far exceeds those costing over 10x what the Vosteed does.
Man, if you want a nice little fidget knife, then Vosteed is certainly worth a look.
As you can see, the blade can be deployed 3 different ways. Lock up is solid, and no side to side blade play either.
The Micarta Scales are very nice. I mean very nice.
It's just an exceptional value imo.

I have a few Vosteed knives now and I'm generally impressed. Their Nightshade is cool too, in any of the several variations. The forward cant and blade shape really make it a fun cutter.

I know Kizer did some of their OEM but they've used more than one manufacturer. I'm not sure who makes what but it all seems like decent quality.

I really like the action on mine. Although, the pivot screw keeps coming loose. I went ahead and applied some blue loctite to it.
Just a lot of fun to play with. Cuts very well too.

The Mini Labrador showed up yesterday. I took it apart for inspection and the internals were pretty clean from the factory, no extraneous tool marks, etc.. They used a steel lock-bar insert with over-travel stop and steel washers in the bearing pockets. It runs 1mm ceramic bearings in a folded brass cage around a 4mm pivot. Based on the internals, I'm pretty sure that the OEM for this one was not Kizer.

Lock-up is solid and the action is decent. Since Skiff is finally doing glide rings in this size, it was a good excuse to order some. I don't know that they'll make a difference here but I'm pretty sure I have a few other small knives that'll take them.

It's interesting to see more budget-focused titanium frame locks with 14C28N blades. I like that the blade thickness at the base of the spine is 0.10" and the grind is decent. (I wish more modern folders would take a hint from the Delica and go with thinner blades.)

My only complaint is that they went with a single screw for the clip. Despite recessing the attachment point, the clip has a little side-to-side play.
