Just recently starting buying spydercos again after a 12 year hiatus.
Have bought some Ambi models in various steels and both current production left handed blades in s30v
it would be fun to have a left hand PM2 in one of the newer "super steels"
Any chance that might be a possibility?
Any new Left hand PM2 steels in the future?

As a lefty I would say doubtful. The PM2 is now available in S45V but rather difficult to find . I’m just glad Spyderco is kind enough to offer dedicated left hand models in any steel . S45 is as good as it gets for now, maybe in the future there could be a spy27 model if spyderco ever move away from s45.

There is s45vn but it is yet another derivative of s30v like s35vn, spy27, and probably others I can't remember. They all mark reductions in carbide and vanadium and as such have worse edge retention than s30v. Just be happy you have s30v. With inflation and these absurd prices you'll probably see increasingly lower carbide steels in the future.

I’d actually buy a PM2 if they made the new salt in a lefty version.

Left Handed people are 10-12% of population. Small market share to cater too.
Maybe someone should start on line retailer for southpaws.
