Just got my Manix 2 Salt back from Spyderco warranty service. Was gone for about 3 weeks total - were it not for the fingerprints all over the blade, I would assume they didn't touch it at all. Pretty much exactly as I sent it to them, with terrible lock stick compared to my other Manix 2 LW. The letter in the box doesn't even say what service they performed on the knife. Really disappointing.

Ordered mine from CutleryShoppe.

They're still in stock at this time.

This is not a good customer service, they supposed to fix or replace it. You should send a private message to "TazKristi" and explain everything.

I was luck enough to get the last one at DLT and it was also the old price.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago, blade was centered and no lock stick, like others I'm not sure what that means for a Manix, all of mine are smooth, I wish the spring was a little lighter, I also have the hair gap on the back of the scale, I am trying to decide if I want to put in a titanium ball cage. :thinking

Got mine in yesterday, the blade was really sharp and centered, but it has really bad lock stick.

Mine has some lock stick as well. Maybe it’s the rust resistant stuff they are using?

Installed a Flytanium BB cage, it fixed the lock stick.I should note this knife has an upgraded pivot and a ceramic ball bearing.

Warning the Magnacut Blade doesn't like G-10 scale version with Titanium scales and Flytanium cage.

Full engagement and slight blade play.

Original is slightly better - no blade play.

i really wish they weren't so insistent on ruining perfect ergonomics with "skinny" scales.

Hopefully AWT will offer two versions in the future . Like you no issues with the original scales , but on the fence with their version . Dan

if no one else ever makes scales for the lw, i still won't buy these. i'm not exaggerating when i say ruin. i think they look ridiculous and make what i would call nearly perfect ergonomics bad.

Original Goat already has a set for the LWs. Pre-order I believe.
https://originalgoat.com/collections/sp ... lw-manix-2

I love the Manix grip. Probably one of my favorites, but I don't imagine AWT's version is terrible. They can't sell enough of them. I have their version for the Para 3 and the Shaman. Though for me, those two models are both choil first choil always designs. I imagine behind the choil it doesn't feel far off from the GB2. One finger groove to lock you in and the rest neutral.
