Took about four minutes start to finish to get my order in. Now to look at what I have for scales.

Went through in 7 minutes. Long waits at each stage and a couple screw ups along the way on my part (like not logging in first) but I see the order complete and really this had less drama than other "drops" that I can remember. Pretty smooth.

I decided that 1 was enough.

So I'll actually be getting one of these! I am quite interested in this entirely different technology -- my take on it as that I will treat it as if it was made of glass (probably excessive, but why not just take care). No twisting or prying whatsoever. I will start out using it in the kitchen.

Oh wow! So succesful that the site has been down for the last 10min, I could add a sheath but since then all I can get is an error page after a few minutes of wait :)

Got mine, Looks like a T15 fell into my cart while I was shopping too. Glad those were in stock as well as I didn't get one and it is nice to combine shipping up here to Canada.

I am very interested to see how the HIC reacts to different sharpening techniques and how long it "really" holds an edge.

Checkout was really delayed and I had 8 in the cast at one point, patience though and it looks like the site is back to being pretty responsive.

Got my two mules (not for Sister Sarah) and a sheath without issue. It's always stressful waiting for the next page to load during the check-out process, but I didn't have any time-outs, just long load times. Doesn't an online checkout seem to have so many superfluous steps when one is in a hurry and concerned about a product selling out? I tend to think that everyone who wants one of these mules will be able to get it if they act in a reasonably timely fashion because of the $150 price and incompatibility with the standard Boltaron sheath, but I sure wasn't going to test that theory by waiting until 9:01 to place my order. Now I just hope Spyderco is as awesome as usual about shipping so that I have my new knife in hand to show off at the super bowl party.

Sal said they made 2000 to cover the tooling costs, so they should have about 1800 to sell. At $150 a pop, hopefully the flippers will go broke trying to resell them.

I was surprised to see only 197 available when I started my checkout process 6 minutes ago. I thought the price tag would have slowed sales way more.
