My Spyderco buying has dialed way back in the last few years. Basically only MAP holidays and an occasional exclusive. Spyderco continues moving out of reach for the average buyer. At least they haven't reached BM level price madness yet. That pricing combined with the several year trend of releasing new variants rather than truly new models has probably put a ding in sales. I still love my Spydies, I just don't buy many these days. There are a lot of great options at much more obtainable prices.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I am not too concerned with the price increase. I have several small folders that fill my needs. I have a couple of Dragonflys, a Lil' Native, a Meerkat that I really like, and possibly my favorite a Navigator II. I also have a Salsa that has seen some pocket time as well. I wish the footprint of that knife was a little smaller but as it is it really fills the hand and I LOVE the Cobrahood. I wish more Spydercos had one.

In short my knife needs are pretty well met so I don't really expect to add too many more Spydercos to my knife drawer.

Be happy you can afford price increase, better then dealing with living in places that allow no personal ownership of knifesi is allowed, and punishable but loss of freedom.

And yet, all of the yet to be released non-sprint models in the latest reveal (Cruwear Manixes and Military/PM2 SALTs, etc.) are seeing price increases.

The unreleased non sprints are affected by the price 2024 price increase because they’re regular production and will still be produced in 2024.

I’m guessing the past sprints runs and the flash batch are unaffected by the 2024 price increases because they’re considered 2023 models.
