Personally, I would’ve preferred a blade length of 2.99” and a blade thickness of 0.1” for EDC.
Personally, I am sick of small knives. Spyderco has way, way too many pea shooter blades.
Quit downsizing everything.
Spyderco caters to different markets with different blade lengths.
I went through the 2024 Spyderco Product Guide and looked at all folders (no fixed blades or Byrd knives).
Altogether there are 84 unique folder models (there are 22 Delica 4 models but I counted it just once).
Personally, I consider blade lengths of 3 inches or less as “Small” folders and blade lengths greater than 3 inches as “Large” folders.
Out of the 84 unique folder models, 38 (45%) are “Small” folders and 46 (55%) are “Large” folders.

You mean like this cute little thing?
Or, maybe this one
I'm confused. Why would you desire to prevent me from purchasing what I want? Personally, I'm very glad Spyderco offers such wide variety. If they offered only one size range, either only large or only small, they would likely not be near as popular as they are. If you don't like small, don't buy small. That it is available in no way forces you to purchase something.
Of course, if you secretly do want a small, but just don't want the temptation, that's on you.
All that blather is totally your opinion…. You are obviously trying to pick fights with members you do not know. Whether you are having a bad day or not, you are completely and totally out of line. You will not silence my opinion, you don’t have the power.
I bought my first Spyderco in 1994, cricket. I still have that knife and drawer full of other Spyderco’s.
Now what’s your excuse?….
Whatever turns you on, cupcake.
Still plays with knives…
Hate to interrupt a perfectly nonsensical argument with on-topic commentary, but here I go..
I'm quite looking forward to the SpyMyto. One of my more recent Spyderco purchases was the SpyOpera - I bought it because it was deeply discounted and I couldn't pass up the deal. I ended up liking it even more than I expected I would.. it is very well done by lionSTEEL. I also have the Lil LionSpy, which is very nicely done. I'm excited to see what lionSTEEL bring to the table with the SpyMyto. Hopefully it begins shipping to dealers soon!
Titanium, micarta, an uncommon steel, deep carry picket clip (doesn't matter to me, but I know there's a huge market for them) Pretty cool knife. It's tempting.
15 's in 10 different steels
1 - Bradford Guardian 3 / Vanadis 4E Wharnie
1 - Monterey Bay Knives Slayback Flipper / ZDP 189
1 - CRK Small Sebenza 31/Macassar Ebony Inlays
1 - CRK Large Inkosi Insingo/ Black Micarta Inlays
1 - CRK Small Sebenza 31 Insingo/Magnacut
It is a cool knife. The bladestock is thick, but it is also thick on the Lil Temperance, and was on the Superleaf (all 4mm), for whatever that's worth.
So, has anyone confirmed if this will indeed have a hollow grind blade? Someone mentioned previously that it wasn't apparent from the recent SHOT Show videos.

that's pretty much exactly how i feel. i'm not thrilled with the strange contouring and shape of the handle, but i'm willing to bet it's more comfortable than it looks and is a very nice knife. being a flash batch, it's one i don't want to always wonder about after it's gone. and my only italian spyderco right now is the roadie, so there's that too.
I thought I would run towards the Native Chief LW MC, Manix LW MC, Military 2 CruCarta and Lil' Native LW but what excited me the most is the Spy Myto
There's only one thing : I hope what appears to be a flat grind instead of the hollow announced on the product page and reveal 14 is kinda thin BTE.. otherwise, every other characterics makes me want this knife !
In the collection : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Very cool model ... but concerning its features a mixed bag for me personally:
I very much like the amount of edge one gets for the closed size and Micarta, I like Titanium (especially combined with Micarta), the long grip area and the not TOO fine (fragile) tip.
Don't like the sharpening-notch-like gap between edge and handle and the thick blade stock.
The weight is ok, but just a bit less would be better and I would probably grind away the flipper tab: This would make for a better carry and let the hand come closer to the cutting edge, while "just" thumb hole opening should be fine.
Just my personal preferences and I sure hope all the guys here who want this knife will be able to grab one!!

i missed it at first as well. what i'm wondering is if the spymyto will come with the same extras as the standard myto. it comes with a glass breaker tip for the pocket clip, a screw to put in place of the removable flipper tab so you aren't left with an open hole, and a tool to use for all of those options.

We can never be sure aslong as Sal does not answers us in this. But knowing lionsteel i think the chance is the positive side for this. Unless Spyderco dissaproves this kind of client service offcoarse but i would be shocked if that would be so.

For what it’s worth, the Lionspy and Lil Lionspy both included a proprietary tool for the pivot screw.
