A.t.m. I am carrying my new Katsu CF02. I have the 17-layer ZDP-189 model from them as well and i am impressed by the premium feel of both.

That's a good lookin blade, Larry.
I like the CF on this model - also forgot how hard ZDP-189 is.

That purple CF on the Shiro must look even more stunning in person.

Bastinelli Dragotac Compact in the pocket today.

Thanks Rick.
Man, this is just hands down the finest folder I've ever owned. I don't ever see me selling it.
I'm gonna carry & use it too.
I didn't really know what to expect- I didn't really expect it to be that big of a difference from the Ursus Quantium but, it is. Super Elegant- just has a feel to it like no other. It's been a super fun journey learning about Shirogorov & how they're made.
Also, I doubt Shirogorov will ever make anymore with this exact Purple CF. As I understand it, & I could be wrong. But, from what I understand, the maker of the CF went out of business.

Yup! I almost went for that M398 model!
I really wanna try Magnacut - I think a Herman would be the perfect inaugural journey! 😃

Today I kept my seax in my pocket:

Image

It's a custom from an ukrainian blacksmith who mostly works with his own crucible steel.
Makes some fun patterns after the reveal, even if mine start to show some wear after a few years of use (and kydex sheath friction):
