Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
Thank you! Yeah it was kinda northwest but it was actually a pretty sunny day today for a change. I don’t know much about photography. I just set it up there and moved it a bit and moved the camera and until it looked good and took the picture. And it’s just my iPhone cameras. My wife has one of those big crazy Nikon cameras with the interchangeable lenses and stuff.Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 3:37 pmGreat shot , love tree shots myself ! Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
Thank you very much! From what I’ve seen on here I’m nowhere even closer to in the same class as these guys and their pictures. I got some really nice ones of it with my new amazingly beautiful Chaves 229 as well. I’m going to post them up in the others section.Ramonade wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 6:28 pmBeautiful picture, one of the best I've seen of the Techno 2. przemekspce has some competition nowStriple765Rider wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 12:47 pmTook some really cool pictures today. Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
this is my first stretch of any kind. i held the zdp/brown g10 version once at a store and then the vg10 xl years later. i always liked the design, but this one put me over the top. especially knowing that this was the last of the nishijin (i've always wished i had been around for a model with this scale material), i had to pull the trigger. i actually fully prepared myself to miss out on it after watching it sell out a few times before i could afford to buy it, but then i got some extra cash for Christmas and it showed up in stock again just long enough for me to snag one. upon first inspection, i thought it had a really wonky grind (not edge, but the actual blade grind), but it turned out to be the lighting playing tricks on me. i was happy to see mine didn't have any of the lanyard tube issues either, and my son is happy that i have a new damascus blade for my collection because he's been eyeballing my damascus/zome delica for years.Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 2:56 pmPlease stop LB ! Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
As beautiful as this Stretch is, I already have 6 other Stretches (4 originals, two 2s, no XLs - yet). Not a big fan of Damascus even though I really like those scales. When the right XL comes out, it will somehow find its way to my house.

First place this week is ladybug93
Many here might not believe it, but in the last year I've only bought 5 knives. I've been able to resist pretty much everything that wasn't a new steel but that Stretch is very tempting.
Runner up goes to SaltyCaribbeanDfly
Great pictures from everyone again this week. I guess I was really digging the blues this week.
