What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Hi Everyone!
(first post here, happy to meet you all!)
I recently found a nice storage box, so I've been gathering my knives around the house. (I tend to leave them everywhere and my other half likes to store them in random drawers)
Today's find was my Janisong, which I ended up playing with the whole day: I remember buying this knife because of the blade shape as well as the whole engineering behind making sure the knife can't bite you.
Cheers,
François.

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.
Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Sadly, not yet. Trying to pay down some debt, so knife-related purchases are on hold. I think I'll order some Tenacious + S2XL scales from Cascadi before the end of the year, though.
Thank you! It's a pretty sweet little combo.Tristan_david2001 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 19, 2024 12:51 pmBeautiful stretch 2! This would be my exact steel and handle material choices for this model

Got a little swag package from one the nicest Forum members from Georgia. Ironically put the Siren in pocket before going outside to blow snow and pick up mail . Thank you buddy and love the card with family updates ! DanMNOSD 0002 / Do more than is required of you . Patton

Got both these beauties in the mail yesterday--carrying the Endura in and around the house (made quick work of the tropical plants around my A/C unit and opened the **** out of a bagged salad) and carrying the Police when I leave the house.
I think I'm starting to get serration-pilled after like 25 years of eschewing them. Figured out how to sharpen my ESEE 6 partially serrated with the trusty Sharpmaker and I'm eyeing some more serrated models.

Absolutely loving both of these so far. Funny how after all this time I'm getting into FRN and lightweights when I refused to get anything that wasn't at least G10 for years and years...
