Re: Power Lock
Anyone else think the Tatanka and Stretch XL look very similar?

Re: Power Lock
I like that the power lock uses a stop pin, so the rock lock a lot of lockbacks exhibit ought to be non-existent.
It might be a superior solution to using stop pins like on the Chaparral.

Re: Power Lock
Sal, any updates? I'm still hoping for more powerlock models.
I've been keeping an eye out for a Tatanka on the secondary market. Starting to warm up to the idea of carrying 6+oz folders, and would like to try one out.

Re: Power Lock
If you could compare a Tatanka and Police or Millie as well I'd be grateful.yablanowitz wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2023 9:03 pmI missed this until now, I can take comparison pix tomorrow when I have light.Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 4:52 pmYes , I would like to see a comparison shot myself . Re: Power Lock
I would be interested in the lock, but not a 6 oz. knife.

Hi Vivi,
I understand that there was a lot of fallout on the run. I'll check with staff as to status.

Re: Power Lock
I regret not buying a Tatanka but I do have the Chinook and the lock-up is superb. When you hear that thing clunk into place you know it's safe. Plus the mechanics of it is as appealing to me in looks as much as action.
For me, a Manix or Manix XL with Power Lock would be the choice. Or, even better again, if it could be fitted into the design, the Lil' Temperance with a Power Lock?

Re: Power Lock
Thanks, that's a big help. Size-wise it looks a little easier to pocket than a Voyager XL. I sent out a few messages for some old listings I found....fingers crossed.yablanowitz wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 10:24 amApparently I lied. My Stretch XL seems to be on walkabout. I'll keep looking for it. In the meantime, here are some pix comparing the P4, Tatanka and Military.

Re: Power Lock
Even more excited to track one down now. Thanks! Looks about how I imagined next to the Voyager. More of a regular pocket knife shape and not so much hook at the back for chopping.
