RECOIL OffGrid - Do you subscribe?

OffGrid is a magazine, an amalgam like the fillings in you teeth. I like it, and I have 60 plus magazines because I bought access to all of them back to their launch. OffGrid involves survivalism, shooting sports, hunting, camping, ethnography, combatives, and you will see ads for all sorts of topical things...you get the idea, it is soft CIA, hard Boy Scouting. You read it with the FREE Zinio reader app. Zinio is a front end to magazine subscriptions. If you've been in the military, hunt, fish, or camp you will probably like it. Buy access to all of the OffGrid magazines, they seem to be worth it. I started buying print copies but this is less clutter.

The Zinio application/reader is just there for me on my desktop and cell phone and I read it when I get sick of surfing the Internet, I open it up. The only downside to the entire adventure is that you need your username or email address, and a password to get in. I think you could make the password as simple as you like.

40% off right now for magazine subscriptions that you read in the Zinio app...you may be able to get paper delivers too.

I use it for OffGrid but I'm thinking of adding a subscription or two.

I do not get anything if you sign up. This was just a tip and I found out the sale was going on when I went to grab the web address to the Zinio site for this post.

I have dearly loved OFFGRID ever since it's release. I've mentioned it a few times here on the Forum but it seems like few are aware of it. The articles in OFFGRID are excellent for the most part. And most of the content is very informative and helpful.

I never miss an issue of OFFGRID or the Backwoodsman either one.

I used to buy OffGrid paper copies, but then I'd miss a few on the news stands. When I bought the complete digital access is when I realized how much information is available.

I've never opened a Backwoodsman issue. Pretty good? ...I'll have to take a look at the table of contents or covers to see what they are about. If I can buy all of the back issues on a USB stick I might be willing to do that soon. I have so many books and magazine stacks. Seems to be difficult in searching for information so I try to buy the USB digital collections and then upload them to my PC at home.

I do not at this time live in a rural area but I bought the Mother Earth News complete digital collection. I have a few books on gardening so that if need be I could set the backyard up for crops. I don't have a green thumb, it's just part of my DNA as a basic prepper to collect these things.

I also have a few years of the USB digital issues for the complete Survival Blog.

My Alienware Area 51 PC died a year ago. I need to save up to buy another one. I have drives full of information that I miss. Maybe I need to look into an external 3 to 5 drive caddy that I can plug into a LAN switch. Save for the new PC later.

Note! RECOIL may be slightly different than RECOIL OffGrid.

RECOIL is the producer of both. Not sure if RECOIL is also a magazine, probably. I know RECOIL as an app on my cell phone for hunting and paramilitary media(videos and articles). I think RECOIL is mainly videos. I never subscribed to the magazine if one exists.

RECOIL OffGrid is a prepper / survivalist written magazine that comes out every two months. The prepper angle allows them to go after any story from martial arts to soft CIA to hard core Boy Scouting and hunting stories. If you were dropped in somewhere after SHTF and had to be a gray man, OffGrid is your magazine.
