I was watching that one as well, not to bid on(not my style, too pretty to use), but to see what the price ended at. I'm no expert, but that has got to be a **** of a price on that model.
Congrats :D
Congrats :D

You certainly did well on that one. Twice the price would have been a bit excessive, at least in my book, since there's a dealer who still has four of the "Screaming Eagle" Blanchard Pro-Venators for "a bit" less than that.

Yes you're right that twice the price would be a bit too much. It's always an issue trying to pick the maximum one's willing to pay for an auction item. I must admit I was quite impressed by the intricate detail in Gary Blanchards work and also being a wolf lover I guess I had to have it.Twice the price would have been a bit excessive

Well truth be known, I'm a fine one to talk, considering that I'd cheerfully pay through the nose for a Blanchard "Flying Eagle" Police. :o Fact is, that we don't all put the same values on the same things, and it's probably better that way.AmmoGuy wrote:Yes you're right that twice the price would be a bit too much. Totally forgot to bid on this one, it was just in my watching list... I think I would have bid around 130$ without shipping cost. next time :)AmmoGuy wrote:Were you the bidder from France? or just watching?....I was quite ready for a much higher bidding match. I kind of feel bad for the seller who I'm sure expected to get more for it. Anyway that's the way ebay goes sometimes. Cheers.

On another note guys, 200$ for a Blanchard isn't irrealistic considering the demand for rare spydies these days, just saw a commemorative worker break a record, over 200$. bought mine for 90$ just a few months ago...
