Just finished my T15 MT34

#1

Post by mooniesdl3 »

I finished up my first Mule, as I posted in another thread I'm working on 3 (now 4, ordered a SPY27 for a son in law) Mules. 2 T15, 1 K294 and, once it arrives, a SPY27 MULE2.

I used Ultrex SureTouch with blue G10 and black rubber layers on this one.

This is the T15 I've finished up, I decided to do a full sharpen instead of just the diamond plate touch up, guided system matching the factory 18DPS using CBN stones grits 120, 220 then a 400 diamond matrix stone followed by more CBN in 600 grit, 1000 grit and 2500 grit then stropping on Bass wood strops loaded with 3 micron then 1 micron then .5 micron diamond pastes.

Edge is absolutely scary sharp and mirror polished.

Nice first Mule !
In 4 Mule handles you'll certainly come close if not reach you perfect handle shape for the Mule !
I know that it took me 5 to really know how big of a palm swell i wanted, etc :D

I the meantime this is a very high grip low drag Mule you got there 😁😁
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Oh I've got the palm swell it down lol, I make knives. These are the other 2 mules I'm working on, a K294 for me and another T15 for a friend in zebra wood.

Nice work Moonies! Those are all very nice Mules you've made. I like the way the G10 pins look against the wood as well.
