Dan, DLC SE is the one I want to get also. Is it available, or are you awaiting it's release?

Just waiting like a lot of members . I think it will be a trickle process like the M2 . Just need to be patient . Dan

I want the SPY27 Native Chief Lightweight !

And sorry for the discussion going elsewhere, definitely did not intend to.
I'm going back to cutting hair in three length wise with my butter knives :open-grin

And well, I might get the BD1N just to hit it on steel tubes.
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Robin. Finally made an IG : ramo_knives

WooHoooo!!!!

They’re (they are) here! :winking-tongue

I’ve picked up all the uncoated plain edge versions to date.

Does anyone know the hardness for the BD1N? I picked up a UKPK BD1N when it first came out, wondering if the heat treat will be the same? Hope they go a little harder.

CG

They are here!!!!

Just out of interest (and I’m not trying to derail this thread at all, but also don’t want to basically duplicate it in a new one) what distributor exclusive of the LW chief are people most looking forward to/hoping for? I personally am practically frothing at the mouth at the thought of a St Nicks 4V one 🤤

GPKnives Rex45 satin.
The white FRN is fine because it’s the steel that matters to me and I can just dye it to whatever color I desire.
I think it would end up being a good deal too, like their Native 5s.
rex121 is the king of steel, but nature’s teeth have been cutting for hundreds of millions of years and counting

Aside from the salt versions, something in a very high wear resistant tool steel and M4 are my only other interests. Rex45 would work for me!

I’ll take the Spy27 however an S110V would be awesome. The closest I would want
in a tool steel is CTS-XHP of which I have in the heavy weight that I really like. It has
never rusted or stained yet and gets really sharp really easy.
Whatever turns you on, cupcake.
Still plays with knives…

Man I love DLC but the regular version is on sale for $100. $75 for DLC coating is making me hesitate, lol.

I did pre-order one of the salt chiefs though!
