I like my GB2 M4 I just got a lot. If the GB1 is any better then I am in.

I hate to vote no on a poll like this, but I’d be more into the 2.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.
Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Not fair for me to vote . Since a lefty don’t use righty liner lock knives . IifmI was a righty I would be happy with either model . MG2

I’d love to see a return of the GB1. Could even be the original configuration. It is much more elegant than the 2 in my opinion.

I’d love it in black micarta personally but oh what a knife this would be!

Southpaw here, too. I've not had an issue with right handed linerlocks, rather I find using my my left index finger to disengage the liner lock proves to be quick and reliable..
Is it bad enough that you don't own any right linerlocks?
Do other left handed guys have an issue with linerlocks?
Edit: wording

Agreed, the lines of the 1 are much more pleasing than the 2 imo.
I'd love to see M4 again, too, but would rather see micarta slabs this time around.

I only have two liner locks and one is first run Military and feel same about frame locks . Just my preference would never diss a lefty using a righty . Liner locks are fine as long as there's an appropriate cutout on the other side/jimping. In fact they're (unfortunately) much easier to use than a compression lock.Meadowlark wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 9:41 pmDo other left handed guys have an issue with linerlocks?
I picked up a GB1 recently because I regretted selling one years ago and it's- IMO- a better knife than the GB2. The 2 is nice but it's a lot of pocket real estate for worse ergos than the GB1, which almost feels like a Glesser design in that respect. So I'm ambivalent about crucarta but I do think the GB1 deserves to come back.

I would not say it is better, more that it's in the same vein but different . Similar vision, different execution. It has a shorter edge and is heavier, but on the other hand it has better fit and finish (the liners) and the hollow grind is higher and funnierWilliamMunny wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 7:56 pmI like my GB2 M4 I just got a lot. In the collection : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

I'd buy one, but personally I feel like it's a great platform for an SNK exclusive.

I was thinking this last night. I like Cruwear but I figure, since BHQ has one we'll probably see a SNK version. I have all the SNK's so I'd definitely go with that one
