I’m actually blown away by what they have there! Some REALLY REALLY nice stuff. I have a guy iI recently started chatting with and made friends with grab me a 15V Para 2 because I tried and tried and tried to grab one at the online sale but failed miserably. Anyway he sent me a picture of some of his finds and there was a freaking REC avocado PM2 and a GP Knives Rex 45 Manix 2 among other many many nice models including a 15V mule for $60! I’m soooo happy that I’m finally getting a 15V Para 2 though!!! For anybody that was camping he’s the guy who seriously filleted his finger open Friday night. I guess he needed 6 stitches for it. He said it was still a great time. He got a bunch of nice knives because he was grabbing a few for others that couldn’t be there like me as well as himself.

Awesome grab, very jealous of that Shaman. What is the lil native on the end? Looks pretty cool too.

Again anyone has an extra PE Shaman they picked up they might not want please let me know, will gladly cover the cost and shipping.

I didn’t really see any PE Shamans at the sale other than this one. The others were SE/black G-10. This one is burlap Micarta & chipped S90V. (a Knife Center exclusive)

The Lil’ Native is S45VN with a compression lock. (a Knifejoy exclusive)

Those are some amazing pickups. I think that Shaman probably had to be one of the best finds there. S90V is one of those steels that I still want to get. Congrats well worth the wait.

Tried to keep it to a minimum... my haul for 2023.

The Schempp knives & forum medal are in the picture because I had Ed engrave them for me (he also gifted me some fantastic garlic, which means I'll be cooking for the folks that arrive earlier than Saturday next year).

Me thinks we might have a knife throwing contest next year

For the love of god, if anyone can find a seconds Maxamet Manix 2 LW with screwed construction I’d be forever grateful.

Quick question. Are there any seconds left over after today? If so do they continue to sell them until they're sold?
I am arriving in Golden a few days too late so was wondering if there would be any left over to purchase.

Here's my haul. Half the folders are for me (all the fancy ones), the other half are to give away to friends (I already gave away the Manix 2 to a friend I visited after the sale yesterday). Going in, I was hoping to pick up a Kapara, McBee, and Yojimbo 2 so was pleased to find those. I hadn't expected to get a Drunken, but somehow it ended up in my basket at checkout.

It was beautiful weather, perhaps the longest line outside I've seen for one of these, and I had fun camping out with a bunch of forum friends I've made over the years, including finally meeting Rich in real life and getting to meet Ed Schempp (who has a very cool project coming up with Spyderco that I don't think we can talk about yet). Special thanks to Spyderco and all the employees who made this a great event!

That's good to hear, thanks for the heads up. I adored Schempp designs during the Persian period. Then he entered his "maximum ricasso" period and I couldn't follow...I felt his maximum ricasso designs omitted too much potential edge, and put the edge a distance too far from the handle. But if he can tame the ricasso back to reasonable lengths, I'm back to being a fan. Very much looking forward to a new Schempp design.

PS: currently 130 "spyderco second" knives for sale on eBay...

Saw a S90V Shaman on there right after the sale… suck they get resold and not used. No way to prevent that but dam would have been a awesome knife to have.
