Love this pic Dan! And the knife.

May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.

Honestly, I treat this knife like a $20 beater from the gas station just because it performs so much better than a beater. I’m talking cutting drywall, hammering, metal scraping, prybar, grout/mortar trimming, you name it. 5 mins on the WS precision adjust, it’s back to “cut yourself and not even know it” sharp.

Mmm...Magnificent M4 Manix!
One of my favorite steels. Always felt like it had a great balance of edge holding and sharpening response. Very fast touch-ups despite a long wearing edge.

I could get by with just M4 and H1.
May you find peace in this life and the next.

Ditto here. Until a year ago I only had M4 in the Bradley Air, but that's a small blade to get a feel for a steel IMO. Since adding a Manix and a Sage in M4, I've been gleefully surprised by M4's aggression and edge holding. M4 is a winner for sure! I can only imagine its magnificence in a large blade like the ManixXL or the Chief.
