First off, the thumbnail is pure clickbait. By now, tons of people have heard about the "crazy plane lady," who freaked out on a plane, claiming that some guy was "not real." There are MANY video reactions on YouTube about that incident, with comments underneath them claiming that she saw a "shapeshifter." People are making baseless assumptions. She did later release sort of an apology video (where she looked a lot different from the way she looked on the plane), but she never said what she saw, if anything. As to other people similarly freaking out in planes within a short time span, I don't know. They could have actually seen strange things; it could also be that they are suffering from some kind of psychosis. People are getting weirder and weirder nowadays, and it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the paranormal.

I never originally intended to even post anything about those plane freakouts, but this video has at least a couple of other clips that I found interesting and believable, which I highlighted the start times of (and gave my own titles to) below:

It's been quite windy over here this past weekend and my dog was sitting next to me when the window, which is always tilted open, suddenly slammed shut quite violently. The lil guy, a 65lb Rottweiler mix, started shivering like crazy as in his mind a supernatural event just took place which his mind can't compute, resulting in fear. With our human brain we can easily determine that the open window in the back caused a pressure difference resulting in the front window rapidly closing. Just to illustrate how easy it is to jump to conclusions and how a deeper understanding of the world tends to remove fear.

Yes, it can be easy to jump to conclusions and mistake something that happens naturally for something 'supernatural.' That is why I don't automatically label something that I experience as paranormal, unless it meets certain criteria according to my own personal experiences. Those criteria include ruling out all possible "natural" explanations.

But outside of normal, common phenomena (such as air pressure differences in a house), what is "supernatural"? I don't like using the word "supernatural," because it seems to imply something that is beyond, or outside of nature. Whereas, due to my own personal experiences, there is no "supernatural;" there are only natural phenomena that are not yet understood by conventional science.

What I don't understand are "paranormal investigators" who are amazed over every little thing, like maybe a glass on a counter moving a half an inch. Or maybe a chair sliding a couple inches on the floor. Or maybe a door slowly opening or closing by itself. Whether it was caused by something normal (for example, water condensation under a drinking glass, possibly causing it to slide over a smooth counter or table) or not. And even if they were caused by paranormal means, so what? Why is that so amazing?

These are only some of the reasons why I personally have no interest in paranormal ("ghost") investigations. I've had enough of my own real experiences throughout my lifetime, without having to be an investigator, to know that far more exists than only the physical world that we can see and touch. When someone has had numerous personal experiences over many years, there is no need for proof, or to prove anything to anybody else. My main interest in the paranormal are in aspects of it that lie OUTSIDE of the commonly-held, closed-minded, self-limiting (and usually segregated by paranormal subject) beliefs among most paranormal or cryptid researchers, who only see things through the lens of their own biases.

Here are a few examples of such limiting beliefs:

"Bigfoot creatures are only an unclassified species of great ape, and have no paranormal aspect to them."

"Ghosts exist, but Bigfoot does not "

"UFOs and aliens exist, buy angels do not."

"Bigfoot creatures exist, but Dogman creatures do not."

"Dogman creatures exist, but there are no such things as shapeshifters."

"UFOs only come from outer space, and are not interdimensional."

"All UFOs/UAPSs are nuts-and bolts spacecraft."

"There are no spiritual aspects to cryptids or UFOs."

"There is zero connection between any of these phenomena, and they never overlap or occur in the same location."

I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Such long-held beliefs are increasingly being shown to be obsolete, as more (and better) information is being shared.
