Stoked for this one. Hopefully I'll not wreck mine testing it (I'll probably try to buy 2 depending on price/etc)

One of the most unique Mule Team blades ever offered, the MT40 Mule is made from High-Impact Ceramic (HIC)—a state-of-the-art Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM) material. Developed by Harcane Industries of Switzerland, this remarkable zirconia-based material is significantly more resistant to breakage than conventional ceramics. It is specially formulated to obtain the highest density during sintering, giving it exceptional toughness and resistance to crack propagation. This proprietary material also achieves far greater hardness than steel blades, allowing it to both cut and retain its edge incredibly well. Because this blade is produced by an injection-molding process, its full tang only includes the holes necessary for handle-scale mounting. The additional weight-reduction holes seen in steel Mules have been eliminated. --Spidiewiki
They indicate this mule blade will have a MSRP of $150.00 with a release date in 2023.

Is that HIC Mule subtlety serrated? I blew up the pic on the site and it looks like the edge isn't smooth.

Anyone have any idea what day they're being released? I need to buy a k294 as well but It's rather but then together and save the shipping price.

All I want for Christmas/The Holidays is a drop date. Maybe December 17th? It’s my birthday 🎂

Usually announced on a Tuesday with a 14 day notice to the drop….So looking like end of January now.

Just my thoughts.

I figured it was sometime in the new year. Just having some fun. They gave us a lot in a short time frame this year, thank you Spyderco team. So I’m grateful for the extended gap. Also wondering if they’re waiting for one of the other mules to sell out first? The HIC mule and the buzz it created would probably hurt sales of the other remaining mules if it dropped now. Hoping to get another AEB-L mule after the holidays.
